Selecting steel

Steel selection is an important element for optimal galvanizing coating. The information below is taken from the ASTM A 385 specifications. Galvanized coatings are generally used for their anti-corrosive properties, not for their appearance. Thus, corrosion resistance is quite similar, whether using a normal coating or not.
